Part 1 - Assembly


1) Install your 10.5" iPad. 

    Open the back of the top piece by removing the 8 thumb screws

    Insert your iPad and attach the lightning cable to the USB cable as shown below


2) Mount the top piece onto the pedestal as shown below


3) Attach the battery pack to the top piece (insert into the 12v slot) as shown below

    


4) Turn on the iPad by inserting your finger into the hole on the back of the top piece as shown below



Part 2 - Using the LEDs


There are 3 programmable modes:

  • Roaming Mode - this is seen while you are roaming with the unit
  • Photo Mode - this is seen during photo capture as a 3 second chase of white light
  • Date Mode - this is seen when guest is entering their data, such as a phone number


The modes do not cycle automatically, instead you will use the red trigger button to cycle between modes, per the following sequence:

  • With unit plugged in, press the red trigger button 4 times. This will start the Roaming Mode
  • To advance to Photo mode, press the trigger once
  • To advance to Data mode, press the trigger once more
  • To return to Roaming mode, press the trigger once more


Programming:


  • From Startup, press and hold trigger button for 5 seconds. This puts the ROVR into Standby mode (turns the lights off)
  • While in Standby mode, press and  hold button for 5 seconds. This puts the ROVR into Programming Mode
  • The first section to program is Roaming mode. You will choose the intensity of the rainbow chase one press at a time. Double press the trigger to save your preference
  • The second section to program is the Photo mode. Single press through the intensity levels, then double press to save your preference
  • The last section to program is the Data mode. Single press the trigger through the colors. Double press to save your preference
  • Press the trigger 4 times to exit Programming mode
