Windows by default will install updates once available, and often will automatically restart to complete the installation of updates. This can be a problem when running an event with your HootBooth® Photo Booth. 

In order to prevent updates from installing during an event, follow the important steps below:

Step 1: Open 'Settings' via the Start Menu

Step 2: Click 'Update and Security' in 'Windows Settings'

Step 3: Click 'Change Active Hours'

Step 4:  Change the Active Hours to reflect the hours that you foresee you'll be running your event(s). During this time slot, Windows WILL NOT update or restart automatically.

Step 5: Click 'Save'
